Graduation Gift Ideas
With the school year finally coming to a close its time to celebrate our graduates! Whether they are graduating from preschool or college here are some gift ideas that they are sure to love.
Preschool- One gift that I love to give is Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss, not only is it a great book but it will provide bedtime story memories for years to come. For a simple gift sure to make them smile is to bake cookies, place some in a small bag and tie the bag closed with ribbon.
Tip: Use ribbon that matches their school colors and on the gift tag write the message “You’re one smart cookie!”
High School- Preparing for college is expensive! We’ve always heard money doesn’t grow on trees, but in this case it does. How cute is that? Your graduate is excited and probably a little nervous about heading off to college. Another great way to help them prepare is to give them a college survival gift basket.
- Put a few items from their school’s gift store like a sweatshirt or lanyard- these are great to hold their school ID and dorm key!
- U Chic: A College Girl’s Guide to Everything and Naked Roommate: And 107 Issues You May Run Into in College have a lot of great information and tips for various topics from sharing a room to saving money.
- Gift cards to favorite restaurants and coffee shops- for those late night study sessions!
- Pinch Provisions has tons of mini survival kits that are so easy to throw in your bag! These are my favorites: College Survival Kit, HEMERGENCY Kit, and SHEMERGENCY.
College- Now that they’ve reached this milestone; it’s time to prepare them for the real world. This graduate will be heading to the workforce and they need to look the part with a nice briefcase or leather bag. Leather can be expensive, so if you are looking for something a little more cost efficient money and gift cards to restaurants, movies, etc. are always appreciated since they probably won’t have much extra spending money after the bills are paid.
What are your favorite graduation gifts you’ve received or given? Congratulations to all the graduates!
