Try this Spooktacular Kids Craft at Home
Instead of purchasing your Halloween gifts and decor this year, stay frugal and get a little creative by trying this cute and fun DIY Halloween craft. It’s super simple for you and very entertaining for the kids. Don’t be afraid to get a little messy, either. That’s where the real fun is. All you need is a couple of items, most of which you can probably find around your house.
- Newspaper
- Black construction paper
- Black permanent marker
- White paint
- White crayon
- Scissors
- Tape
Now, let’s get crafting!
Step 1. Apply a layer of white paint to the bottom of your child’s foot.
Step 2. Have your kiddo step on the black paper and then remove his or her foot carefully (Hint: Use the newspaper to place your foot after creating your print.) Leave the footprint to dry.
Step 3. Draw a ghost like shape around the foot with a white crayon. Then, using your black permanent mark, draw a face on the spooky fellow.
Step 4. Leave a little room around the white crayon and cut the figure out. Apply tape to the back of your ghost art and hang it anywhere for decoration.
