3 Things I Refuse to Bargain For
Listen up, ladies. I’m the bargain queen. Some call me the coupon lady. I love a good deal and can never resist an awesome sale. However, there are some things that I’m just not willing to buy cheap.
- Shoes. Seriously, trust me on this one. Shoes can be pricey, I know. But that doesn’t mean you should go for the cheapest ones you can find. You’ll realize this is the case in most situations, you get what you pay for. So while those wedges you bought because they were unbelievably cheap are cute and all, but don’t be surprised when one of the straps breaks and your feet are aching in pain. Cheap shoes won’t last long and they usually don’t feel good on your feet.
- Handbags and purses. I’m not condoning throwing thousands away on designer bags by any means. But I’ve made the mistake of buying a really cheap purse from a retailer who shall not be named, only to panic when one of the straps completely snapped. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. You’ll spend more on replacement bags than you would have if you had just spent a few extra bucks on an overall better purse.
- Cars. This is specifically referring to used cars. Maybe you can’t afford a brand new speedster. A lot of us can’t. That doesn’t mean you should settle for an old cash car just because it’s cheap. Unless you’re an auto mechanic or have one who can go with you to buy the car, never buy a car just because it’s cheap. Chances are, there’s a reason. You don’t want to be stuck on the side of the road in your cute but painful heels, make sure you know what you’re getting into.
These are just a few things I’ll pay the extra cash for. What are some things you refuse to buy cheap?
